Esri joins with Microsoft in embracing artificial intelligence | Latest News


Redlands technology company is part of a major artificial intelligence initiative announced this week by Microsoft.

Esri and Microsoft, together with funding for their resources, are available to the security officers to extract data from wetlands and other dangerous sites, according to a press release.

ESRI is dedicated annual service users in San Diego that attract top technology companies from around the world, especially those related to mapping. AI can do it "in flight," says Lucas Jaffa, director of research engineer for Microsoft, for thousands of users to support people.

"Human and computers, however, collaborate increasingly identified algorithm, the way we respond as a society can change dramatically on some of our biggest challenges."

Jaffa said that last year Microsoft had Esri and Chesapeake Conservancy training computers to create a map of Chesapeake reservoir function.

"The true strength of this approach is that we can use the same algorithm to classify land coverage in places it has never seen."

Esri introduction Jaffa took place on Wednesday in London on Wednesday in London, where she announced a program called AI for Earth, which announced "Building on commitment to use Microsoft's AI technology to improve human ingenuity and promote sustainability in the world."

Microsoft has also announced the formation of a sledge station called Microsoft Research AI on Wednesday in the media. It will have a team of 100 scientists and engineers.
